2/19 The Poplars and Vine
House

GV II

House, subdivided into two sections. Early C18 with mid C19 and late C20
alterations. Rendered and painted sandstone rubble; renewed, moderately-
pitched pantiled roof. The Poplars: 2 storeys, .3 bays; Vine House: 2 storeys,
2 narrow bays. The Poplars has a central Tuscan doorcase with late C20 glazed
door and patterned overlight. Vine House has identical doorcase to right.
Late C20 casements with mid Cl9 lintels and raised sills. Plain, close eaves
and verge. Two renewed ridge stacks of brick. Included for group value.
