4/38 Wall adjoining to east
17.11.76 of East Shaws Farmhouse

GV II

Garden wall. Probably late C18. Roughly-dressed sandstone with flat coping.
North section runs east for c.25 metres and adjoins east section which runs
south for c.40 metres. North section has doorway to left and a quadrant ramp
which reduces wall height from c.5 to c.4 metres. East section has quadrant
ramp to left which reduces wall height from c.4 to c.3 metres and, after further
reduction in height to c.1.5 metres, wall continues south to adjoin range of
farmbuildings which are not of special interest. Included for group value.
