5/63 Manor Cottage


House. Mid C18 with mid C19 alterations. Roughcast sandstone rubble with
dressed quoins; pantiled roof; brick stacks. 2-storey, 2-bay front: door and
windows have raised surrounds; part-glazed door on right with tripartite sash
window to left; first floor has horizontal sliding sashes, 12-pane to right and
18-pane to left. Rear has similar first floor windows and small 4-pane pantry
window to left. Steeply-pitched roof has coped gables with shaped kneelers and
rebuilt end chimneys.
