The Mount


House. Probably late C18 with rear rebuilt and heightened in late C20. Roughcast
sandstone rubble with dressed quoins; pantiled roof; brick stack. 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Low Plinth. Central C20 boarded door in raised surround. Flanking renewed 12-pane
sashes. First floor has blank central bay and flanking 12-pane horizontal sliding
sashes. Roof of moderate pitch with rebuilt ridge stack at right. Included for
group value.
