House and attached cottage and farm buildings. Dated 1810 for G B on rear
door surround; farm buildings and cottage attached probably mid C18, with C19
alterations and additions. House coursed squared sandstone with plinth, quoins
and tooled ashlar dressings; other buildings coursed rubble with quoins and
ashlar dressings; roofs stone-flagged with stone gable copings and stone and
brick chimneys, and pantiled with stone eaves. House 2 storeys, 3 bays; cottage
and farm buildings set back with 2 lower storeys, 5 bays and one-storey, 3-bay
right wing breaking forward. House has tooled stone surrounds to renewed
central door and overlight and to renewed windows; roof has moulded kneelers
and banded end chimneys with mostly tapered square yellow pots.

Cottage at right has 3 irregular bays, with late C19 sashes of varied sizes
with pecked flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills; right gable with
moulded kneeler; square brick ridge chimney between first and second bays.
2-bay farm building has boarded loft door at right with external stone steps,
and slatted loft opening at left; low range breaks forward below and has boarded
loading doors in front gable. Rear shows house round-headed stair window with
patterned glazing bars in keyed surround; dated tooled surround to door.
Interior: 6-panel doors in architraves; acanthus-leaf cornice in one room;
slender ramped handrail on stick balusters of dogleg stair.

Small C20 rear extension not of interest.
