Outbuilding. Probably circa 1810. Thin courses of squared sandstone with
quoins and ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roof with stone gable copings; rear
outshut roof-corrugated asbestos. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Elevation facing New
Broomielaw house has boarded door at right in pecked stone surround; flat
stone lintel and projecting stone sill to 2-light ground floor window with
glazing bars and plain light, probably in place of pitching hole, above. Left
return has similar lintel and sill to small square blocked opening in pent
outshut. Right return has side stone steps to boarded loft door. Included
for group value.
