Hill Farmhouse

Farm buildings. Circa 1770 by J. Paine using design by D. Garrett. Limewashed
rubble with ashlar dressings; pantiled roof. 2-storey, 3-bay barn, with one-
storey L-plan range of byres at left forming yard behind farmhouse with entrance
at left; right range demolished. Barn has blocked segmental arch over central
Dutch door and 4-pane overlight under thin wood lintel; flat stone lintels and
projecting stone sills to flanking partly blocked openings; wide thin lintels
and projecting stone sills to 20-pane first-floor fixed lights on first-floor.
Hipped roof. One byre at left and one on inner return have boarded Dutch doors
and partly-glazed hit-and-miss windows. Rear of barn has wide vehicle entrance
alteration.

Derelict at time of survey. Included for group value.
