Milestone. Late C18. Painted ashlar. Square-section, flat-topped block,
c.0.5 metre high, set diagonally to road. BOWES 7 painted and incised on east,
and DURHAM 22 on west, on sides facing road; large 22 and 7 incised on rear
faces.
