House, dated MDCCLXXIX (1779) with initials C J on front door lintel. Squared
stone with cut dressings; graduated stone slate roof. Main part 2 storeys,
3 bays, symmetrical. Central old 4-panel door, with applied decoration to
lower panels and upper panels glazed, in chamfered stone surround. 4-pane
sash windows in stone surrounds. Coped gables on moulded kneelers; end
stacks. Near-contemporary outshut on left has 2-panel door with 2-pane
overlight, and similar kneeler. Rear elevation shows similar fenestration.

Interior: 2-panel doors. Straight stair with stick balusters; the lower
newel may be C17 re-used. Kitchen fireplace with corbelled-out-lintel and
C19 range. Fireside cupboards in both kitchen and parlour with panelled
doors and axe-head hinges. Old pump and stone trough in west outshut.
