2/91 Abbey Farmhouse


House, c.1800. Squared rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings;
graduated stone slate roof with left end stack heightened in brick. 2 storeys,
3 bays, symmetrical. Central 4-panel door with 3-pane overlight; 16-pane sash
windows with cut lintels and slightly-projecting sills. Stepped-and-banded
end stacks. Rear elevation shows contemporary outshut, vertical-panelled
door inside C20 porch, and 16-pane sashes.

Rear porch and attached farmbuildings on south are not of special interest.
