GV II

Outbuilding range and yard walls. East part C16 or early C17, west part and
yard west wall C18, yard east wall C19. East part heavy rubble with irregular
long quoins; west part and yard walls rubble; some cut dressings. Graduated
stone slates on east part; pantiles, with stone slates to eaves, on west part.

2 storeys, 3 + 2 bays, irregular. Left part shows 2 boarded doors, one with
external stone stair, stable door, 12-pane Yorkshire sash and henhole with
stone shelf for poultry ladder; raised left gable coping. Older right part
is taller, showing boarded door with timber lintel, small window above and
traces of blocked openings. External stair to boarded door, and pigeon-cote
on right return gable.

Far left tall flat-coped wall, returning to join Hall west wing: 2 boarded
doors with timber lintels.

To rear of older part are 2 cart entrances (one blocked) with massive stone
lintels.

Yard east wall is lower, with roughly-pitched coping and small monolith gate
piers; right pier has incised '9'. Left pier formerly bore figure '8':

"between 8 and 9" each evening.
