Lead mill water wheel pit. Probably mid C19 for London Lead Company. Rubble
with stony render; no roof.

Rectangular plan. Circa 120 x 3.5 metres, the long walls c. one metre thick
and c. 6 metres high inside. Long east wall, flat-topped, with square beam and
c. 15 cm. across at centre of east face; west wall damaged at centre, but
otherwise flat-topped. Thinner north wall to full height, with dislodged top
beam; south wall damaged. Interior shows deep pit; central uprights, c. 30 cm.
square set in side walls, formerly supported wheel axle.
