north of Lane House

Barn and loose box. Probably mid C18. Sandstone rubble with quoins and ashlar
dressings; pantiled roof with stone ridge. 2-storey, 4-bay barn and one-storey
2-bay loose box attached at left. Elevation to yard has 2 boarded Dutch doors
under old wood lintels in second and fourth bays; small square windows in first
and fourth bays. Blocked loft door at left, square opening at eaves, and vent
slits, in first floor. Loose box has flat stone lintels over boarded door at
right, and square window at left. Dutch door and loft opening in rear wall of
barn. Gable peaks have rough coping formed by courses of rubble.
