House. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed sandstone rubble with
quoins and ashlar dressings; synthetic tiles on roof with stone gable coping.

South elevation has renewed central door in plain stone surround. Late C19
sashes in outer bays, those on ground floor larger, with flat stone lintels
and projecting stone sills; narrower C2O window with similar lintel and sill
over door. Roof has corniced end chimneys; gable copings on cyma-moulded
kneelers, the left altered. Rear elevation to street has large central round-
headed stair window with ogee-intersecting glazing bars; C20 door. Interior
has L-hinges on boarded doors under stair to storage space; low 6-panel doors
to other rooms. Altered stair has moulded handrail on stick balusters. One
dentilled chimney-piece cornice on first-floor.

Left kitchen extension is not of interest.
