Smithy and loose-box. Probably late C18. Sandstone rubble, with quoins;
pantiled roof with brick chimney. One low storey, 3 bays. Boarded door at
left under wood lintel at eaves. Old wood lintel over partly-blocked central
door with upper half of Dutch door, with horizontal planks, remaining as
shutter. Small square window to loose box has rough thin stone lintel and
sill. Left end low square chimney on ridge. Right return has old wood lintel
over boarded door c.0.4 metre lower than opening. Wide rear window partly
glazed, partly boarded, under wood lintel.

Interior shows full-height circular rubble fire-hood with some brick patching;
and projecting forge with stone lintel and renewed brick piers.
