House. Late C18 incorporating earlier building. Coursed sandstone rubble
with quoins and ashlar dressings; roof of synthetic slates. L-plan. 2
storeys, 3 bays with 2-storey one-bay right rear wing. Central partly-glazed
6-panel door and patterned fanlight in round-headed opening with voussoirs.
Renewed 16-pane sashes in outer bays have flat stone lintels; ground-floor
sashes have projecting stone sills. Banded end chimneys. Right return has
one 4-pane sash towards rear on first floor, and rear wing has bowed 16-pane
sashes in slightly-bowed projection. Interior shows late C18 stair with
moulded ramped handrail on-stick balusters; timber-framed partition with
upended brick nogging at steps to cellar.

C20 rear additions are not of special interest.
