Accommodation bridge, 640 metres east of Elstob Crossing

(Formerly listed as Accommodation bridge, 60 metres east of former Elstob Lane Level Crossing, previously listed as Accommodation bridge, 60 metres west of former Elstob Lane Level Crossing)

Accommodation bridge. Circa 1830 for the Clarence Railway Company; widened and
north face rebuilt in mid C19. Squared red sandstone with tooled-and-margined
dressings.

South face has central semicircular tunnel arch with flush voussoirs and raised
keystone. Short parapet, defined by band and chamfered coping, has low end piers
with pyramidal caps. Raking side walls, flanking arch, are canted on plan and
have battered end piers.
North face has similar tunnel arch and parapet. Flanking retaining walls are
concave on plan and have end piers with pyramidal caps.
