A C16 timber-framed and plastered house built on an L shaped plan on the
site of an earlier moated house. Refronted in brick in the C18 or early
C19 (now plastered). The major part of the moat still remains. 2 storeys.
The east front has 3 window range and the north front has 2 window range,
double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The east front has a central doorway
with a semi-circular head and a C20 door. The north front has large C20
gabled glazed porch with a semi-circular light in the gable. Roof tiled,
hipped.
