3/143 Daniels Farm

House. Late C17, with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-framed and
plastered with early C19 plain tile gambrel roof with brick ridge stack
and small, brick lateral stack. Lobby-entry plan variant, with
staircase in front of stack. South front. 1½ storeys, 5 bays.
Symmetrical with central doorway with C19 enclosed porch with boarded
and bargeboarded gable and 4-panel door. To left, 2,C19 3-light
casements. To right, 2 similar casements. Above, 4, C19 roof-dormers
with boarded and bargeboarded gables, each with a 2-light casement. C20
extension to rear. Interior: said to have exposed beams and joists,
and earlier re-used timber in south-west bay( information provided by the
county Council.)
