A timber-framed and plastered house of C15-C16 origin With cross wings at the
north and south ends. It was much altered in the C17 when the centre block
and the north wing were largely rebuilt, The front has 3:1 window range, double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, On the north and south ends there is a fine external
chimney stack with 2 octagonal Shafts with spurred caps. Roof tiled. A picturesque
building. (RCHM 8).
