A C17-C18 timber-framed and plastered house with a small wing projecting to the north. It adjoins and stands in front of Manor House. 2 storeys and attics. 2 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The attics are lit by small windows in the gables, the ground storey has a C20 shop front. Roof tiled.

No 1 with Manor House, Manor Place and Manor Lodge, and Valley Cottages Nos 1, 2 and 3 form a group.
