A mediaeval timber-framed and plastered house with early Cl6 work, probably of
earlier origin. Much altered and added to and renovated in the C20. The main
block is 2 storeys with a jettied upper storey on the rust front. A wing extends
to the west at the north end, 1 storey and attic. the windows are C20 casements,
some with leaded lights. Roof tiled, The interior has exposed timber framing
and moulded ceiling beams. There are also original windows. (RCHM Lt Leighs).
