Formerly the post office. A C17 timber-framed and plastered cottage with a C18
addition at the east end with a thatched roof. A gabled dormer on the south side
is dated 1730. 1 storey and attics. Casement windows with leaded lights. Roof
tiled, with 2 gabled and 1 sloping roofed dormer on the south side. (RCHM 10
Gt Leighs).
