A range of C16-C17 cottages originally 5 tenements and now 2, at one time said
to be almshouses. Timber-framed and plastered. 1 storey and attics. Casement
windows, There is a gabled porch with a boarded "stable"1 door. Roof tiled, with
3 sloping roofed dormers and 2 gabled dormers. The interior has exposed timber-framing
(RCHM 11 Gt Leighs).
