the Swan Inn

A C17 timber-framed and plastered house built on an L-shaped plan with wings extending north-east and south-east. The south-east wing is faced in red brick with end
pilasters 2 storeys. 3 window range on the south-west front. The windows on
the ground storey are paired. 2 window range on the north-west front. The windows
are casements. Roofs tiled, With a small gablet at the north-west end and an
original cruciform chimney stack: (RCHM 38).

Brook House, Moss Rose Cottage and adjoining cottage, The Swan Inn, The Shack and
Cottages opposite the Swan Inn form a group. (Moss Rose Cottage and adjoining cottage
and The Swan Inn are buildings of local interest).
