A timber framed and plastered house of C14 origin with cross wings at the east
and west ends. Altered in the C17, C18 and C19 and renovated in the C20. The
main block is faced in brick and plastered. 2 storeys. 5 window range (arranged
1:3:1), double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey of the main block
has 2 canted bays and a central C20 glazed doorway. Roof tiled, with 2 tall rectangular
central chimney stacks. At the west end there are modern additions. (RCHM 69).
