A timber-framed and plastered house of C17 origin, altered in the C18, there are
some modem additions. 2 storeys. A large central 2 storeyed gabled porch projects
on the front. 5 window range, casements with leaded lights. 2 of the lst storey
windows have small gables in the roof. A wing extends to the east at the rear.
Roof tiled, mansarded on the east wing, file kitchen has exposed ceiling beams
and joists and there is an original corner cupboard in the hall of the main block.
A completely moated site stands to the north east of the house (ROTA 7).
