A C16 timber-framed and plastered cottage with a cross wing at the west end, the upper storey is jettied on the north side of the cross wing. Two storeys. Casement windows. Roof tiled, with a large rectangular central chimney stack with a C17 moulded base, rebuilt above.

All the listed buildings in The Village form a group (Dweina No 1, Elm Cot and Lime Tree Cottage and Almshouses are buildings of local interest).
