Probably the only remaining circular dovecote in Essex. The present building
is C18 built in red brick, header bend, possibly on an earlier, Tudor, foundation.
2 storeys. Conical tiled roof, no longer surmounted by a louvre but it has
an old weather vane, and a moulded brick cornice, There are no nests remaining.
The cote stands alone in the middle of a field.
