Originally a C15 timber-framed and plastered house with cross wings at the north
and south ends. Much altered and added to in the C17. 2 storeys. 3 window range,
double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The doorway has pilasters and a cornice.
Roof tiled, with a good late C17 central chimney stack dated 1678 with initials I P. The stack has pilasters with flat shield shaped corbels below the bases.
the interior has some original features, including a late C17 staircase in the
south wing. (RCHM 5 ).
