Originally a C17 house built on an L shaped plan but very much altered in the`
C18 and later. It is now fronted in grey gault brick with a parapet and a bracketted
cornice. The north front is colourwashed. 2 storeys. 5 window range on the west
front and 3 window range on the north front, double-hung sashes with glazing bars,
in plain reveals. A raised brick band runs between the storeys. The north front
has a central C20 doorway in style. Roof tiled. (RCHM 2)
