A large C19 block has been built onto the original 015 timber-framed and plastered
house which is now at the rear. The original house has a cross wing on the south
arid and part of the hall block remaining. The wing of the original house is 2
storeys and the hall block is 1 storey and attics. Casement windows. The C19
block is 2 storeys, with 2 gables on the south side. Roofs tiled, with 1 gabled
dormer to the hall block. (RCHM 78 Great Waltham).
