Formerly Knight's Farmhouse. A mediaeval timber-framed and plastered house of
Cl5 origin. An attic storey was inserted in the Hall block probably in the C17.
The house was renovated and restored in 1955. There is a 2 storey cross wing
at the south end and the main block is 1 storey and attics. the windows are small
casements with C2O lattice leaded lights. Roof tiled, with 2 gabled dormers.
The cross wing has an original king post truss. The interior has exposed timber-
framing ceiling beams and Joists.
