An asymmetrical building of rendered brick designed by T S Tait in 1928,
an early essay in the Dutch style of Dudok. The house has a flat boarded
roof and a plain parapet. 2 storeys. The windows are metal casements
with horizontal glazing bars. The entrance on the south side is approached
from a small terrace with a projecting balcony above. A projecting flat
canopy above one of the 1st storey windows on the west side extends round
the north- west corner. The garage on the east side has been altered to
provide workshop accommodation. A staircase tower rises at the rear on
north side.

Le Chateau form a group with the Boars Tye Farmhouse, No 67 (Craig Angus)
and No 77 (Wolverton).
