A late C16 timber-framed and plastered house re-fronted in the C18 in buff
coloured gault brick. The south east front has a parapet with a stone
coping, and end pilasters. The centre part breaks forward slightly with
a central 3-window brick bay rising through 2 storeys with 1 window range
on either side. 2 storeys. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing
bars, in plain reveals. A 6-panel door has a wood doorcase with panelled
reveals, pilasters and a cornice on console brackets. Roof tiled, hipped.
There is one original chimney stack with moulded offsets. RCHM (49)
