Circa 1400 or earlier timber frame cottage. Black weatherboarded and rendered.
Plain tile roof with gabled, ends. On storey and attic. Three window range; two
C18/19 sashes with glazing bars and small C19 casement. Doorway off centre with
modern gabled porch in front of circa C16 brick stack. C19 brick end stack.
Modern additions at rear.
Interior: Most of the original frame remains with jowled storey posts, cambered
tie beams and simple crown post roof. One (at least) of the original mullioned
windows remains RCHM 47.
