An early C19 gault brick house, now painted. 3 storeys. 2 window range,
double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars, in stucco architraves. 1st
storey windows have pilasters and cornices and 2nd storey windows have segmental
heads. The ground storey has a C20 shop. Roof slate.

Nos 1, 3, 9 and 11 form a group with Nos 2 to 8 (even) Rayne Road and
White Hart Hotel and No 2 Bockinv End, Bocking.
