A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building. Nos 12 and 13 are jettied on
front and No 10 is a tall wing, possibly later, at the south end. 2 storeys
and attics. No 10 has 1 window range on the west and south fronts, C20 casements
with lattice leaded lights. Nos 12 and 14 have 2 window range, 3-light casements
with glazing bars. 2 6-panel doors with narrow architraves. Roofs tiled, No
10 with a C20 flat headed dormer. The interiors have exposed ceiling beams.

All the listed buildings from No 4 to No 20 on the east side and
No 19 to No 41 on the west side form a group with Bawn Cottage, Bawn Close.
