An C18 plastered brick house incorporates parts of the frame of an earlier
building. 2 storeys, attics and cellars. 4 window range, double-hung sashes,
in flush cased frames. The 1st storey windows have glazing bars. The ground
storey, at the south end, has a shallow bow with 2 windows and a fascia and
cornice which is carried above the doorway. Roof tiled. The north part rises
to a higher ridge level than the south and has 2 gabled dormers. The interior
has exposed beams and original door on the 1st storey.
All the listed buildings from No 24 to No 56A on the east side
form a group with No 37 to No 89 (with Nos 57, 61, 61A) on the west side.
