A range of early C16 timber-framed and plastered houses, altered in the C18
and later. 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, double hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames. The doors are C20. There is a cart entrance at
the north end (now part of Nos 53-57). Roofs tiled, with 3 sloping dormers
(2 with horizontal sliding sashes). The interior has some original doorways, ceiling beams and joists. RCHM (10).
