Late C15 or early C16, 2 storey timber framed and plastered, with jettied cross
wings, central hall and early C17 extension to the east. Roofs gabled with
red plain tiles. Vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars and modern
casements. Hall and cross wing roofs retain original crown posts, one of which
has moulded base and capital. C17 inserted chimney stack with 4 diagonal shafts,
and a good original 'creased' oak door. (R.C.H.M.42).
