Built in 1865 in random dressed stone on a cruciform plan
with steep pitched grey slate roof. North front has 2 entrance
porches, with pitched roofs and 2 centred arches and moulded
jambs. Centre section has 2 small traceried windows at lower
level and large traceried window over. Prominent tower with
stone spire at south west corner. (The spire has been removed).

Interior is complete. Gallery on all sides with panelled
front, supported on cast iron columns. Thinner cast iron
columns above support five arch-braced roof and arcades.
At south (liturgical east) end moulded arch to organ chamber
with large organ over vestry with gothic screen behind the
rostrum. On the north gallery fromt a gothic bracket clock.
Rostrum reading desk and benches intact. Former Sunday School
in basement with cast iron columns supporting floor above.
