GV II


Coach-house, c.1800. Red brick, Flemish bond, roofed with dark red and black
glazed pantiles, a few unglazed red. Aligned approx. NE-SW, aspect SE, with
lean-to extension to NW roofed with corrugated iron, formed on boundary wall
of red brick and flint, sides weatherboarded. Central double doors under
semi-elliptical arch of gauged red brick, 2 brick pilasters, simple cornice,
pediment with moulded bricks. To each side a boarded door under shallow
segmental arch of gauged red bricks, 2 semi-circular windows and one round
window of gauged red brick. Dogtooth course below eaves. Roof hipped, ridged
tiles with serrated crests on all 5 edges. Hayloft over.
