GV II

Manor House, C16 or earlier, altered in C19. Timber framed, cement rendered,
roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 3-bay range aligned approximately NE-SW
with axial chimney stack at South West end of middle bay. 2-bay NE crosswing,
jettied to SE, with external chimney stack on NE wall. Extensions to NE of
this, enclosing stack, and to NW with end chimney stack, C19. Parallel NE-SW
range to NW with internal chimney stack near SW end. 2 lean-to extensions to
SW, roofed with tiles and slate respectively. SE elevation, ground floor, 2
french windows, 2 double-hung sash windows of 6 lights, all late C19. First
floor, 4 similar sash windows. Jetty completely cement rendered, no brackets.
Interior has plain-chamfered beams with step stops at SW end, broach stops at NE
end of main range. Edge-halved and bridled scarf in South West wallplate of
crosswing. Roofs not accessible.
