TL 74 SW RIDGEWELL CHAPEL ROAD
3/37 Hunts Farmhouse

GV II

House, C17, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched. 4 bays
aligned approximately NW-SE with axial chimney stack in second bay from NW end,
aspect NE. Single-storey extension with slate roof to front of SE end,
originally a late C19 shop. Lean-to extension to rear. Single storey with
attics. 6-panel door with top panels glazed, slated gabled porch, 3 C20
casement windows. The interior has a plain-chamfered axial beam with lamb's
tongue stops to SE of the stack, and a transverse beam boxed in to NW of the
stack. Clasped purlin roof.
