House, C17, altered in C20. Timber framed, roughcast rendered, roofed with
red clay corrugated tiles. 3 bays aligned approx. NW-SE, aspect NE, with
central chimney stack forming a lobby-entrance. Rear wing of 2 bays, forming
a T-plan, with chimney stack in NE bay. Single-storey extension in S angle with
corrugated iron roof, C20. Single-storey with attics. C20 door, tiled gabled
porch, 2 C20 casement windows. Some framing exposed internally. Jowled posts.
Heavy studding with arched bracing inside studs. Transverse beam in NE bay
of rear wing, plain-chamfered with step stops. Clasped purlin roof with rafters
exposed. RCHM 13.
