Barn, C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with slate. 6 bays aligned
approx. NW-SE, original entrance doors to NE in third bay from SE end, midstrey
opposite. Lean-to shelter of rough posts and corrugated iron in W angle, C20.
Jowled posts, straight tiebeams, 5 thin arched braces present, others replaced
by hanging knees. One re-used moulded tiebeam. Cranked tension braces above
girts, trenched to inside of studs, inserted tension braces below girts, not
trenched. Face-halved and bladed scarfs. Roof rebuilt to reduced pitch for
slate. Comprises a group with the parish church and The Red Lion Inn.
