Cottage, C18. Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched. 2 bays aligned NE-SW,
aspect NW, with external chimney stack at SW end. Single-storey flat-roofed
rear extension, C20. Single-storey extension to NE under construction in August
1983. Single storey with attics. Trellised porch and 2 casement windows, C20,
2 more in gabled dormers. Some framing exposed internally. Thin primary
straight bracing and studding. No jowls. Axial beams deeply chamfered.
Original framed doorway through central tiebeam. Wood-burning hearth of 23cm.
red brick, original, reduced for coal-burning grate.
