2/29 Moat Farm. Barn approx.
60 metres south east of
House

GV II

Barn. Late C14 with later restorations. Timber framed and weatherboarded.
Corrugated asbestos roof hipped to left with gablet. Two midstreys, formerly
gabled, now with catslides and full height double doors. Aisle bracing to
storey posts. Halved and bridled scarfs. Originally with crown post roof.
Arched braces to side purlins. C17 date said to be inscribed on midstrey top
plate.
