Cottage. C16 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed,
painted brick facing to front, plastered rear. Red tiled roof. Red brick
external chimney stack to left and similar stack to right ridge. 1 storey and
attics. 2 window range of casements. C20 flat roof porch to right with plank
and muntin door. Side purlin roof construction. Documentary evidence of
property owned by the Leffingwell family of Earls Colne circa 1468.
